Nassy Atanasova from Green Foot Team is the winner of Wave Running 10km. but she is also the winner of Wave 5km. both in the female category. Nassy comes from Bulgaria and it’s her first participation in Wave Running but not her first time running on the waves because there is a similar race in Bulgaria, which is called Kamchia Sands and is held on the longest sand strip in Bulgaria, situated near the mouth of the Kamchia River! It would be great to visit Bulgaria and join that specific race which is similar to Wave but on the riverside! We wish you all the best Nassy and hope to see you next year running on the Sea Wave!
“It was an amazing experience. There is no greater happiness than running barefoot on the sand, feeling the salty sea spray, enjoying the sunset and the song of the wind and the waves… and all those smiling people. Great organization, a very pleasant atmosphere and good mood. I am participating for the first time, maybe next year I will try the 28 km barefoot race. I’m from Bulgaria and there is a similar competition – Kamchia Sands,which I like very much and recommend.”
